CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve just received a body piercing by a skilled and knowledgeable professional who cleaned and disinfected the pierced area, used sterile instruments, jewelry and a single use needle.

WE HAVE DONE OUR PART, NOW IT IS UP TO YOU TO TAKE PROPER CARE OF YOUR PIERCING DURING THE CRUCIAL HEALING PERIOD. HOW YOUR PIERCING HEALS IS UP TO YOU AND YOUR BODY.

It is important for your piercing that you:

  • Wash your hands with fragrance free antibacterial soap thoroughly before any time you will be cleaning or touching your piercing for any reason.

  • Clean your piercing three to 4 times daily during the crucial first one to six weeks.

  • Clean your piercing appropriately with the suggested cleaner. Recovery Aftercare Spray or Wound Wash.

  • Clean the area of any crusty discharge matter before you attempt to move the jewelry.

  • DO NOT use table salt and water as a salt bath.

PLEASE wash your hands before touching your piercing. When cleaning, remove all discharge matter that may collect on and around the piercing with a disposable product such as a tissue, paper towel, or Q-tip. Make sure you do this before you clean your piercing. irritation may occur when crusty discharge matter is accidentally forced into the piercing. Your piercing needs a lot of oxygen to heal correctly. Piercings heal faster when clean and dry. Do not smother your piercing with Band-aids and ointments. Some people find the use of a multi vitamin can help speed up the healing process. DO NOT USE A WASH CLOTH OR BATH TOWEL TO CLEAN OR DRY THE PIERCING, THERE MAY BE UNKNOWN BACTERIA IN THE CLOTH THAT WILL TRANSFER TO THE PIERCING. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR PIERCING WITH ALCOHOL OR PEROXIDE, THIS WILL DRY YOUR PIERCING OUT.

PLEASE wash your hands before touching your piercing. To clean your piercing put a small pearl sized drop of fragrance free antibacterial soap on the tip of your finger. Rub your fingers together to create a nice lather, then rub the soap all over the jewelry and piercing. Rotate the jewelry back and forth to make sure the soap enters into the piercing. Do this for about two minutes, then rinse The jewelry and piercing off until the soap is completely gone. Allow to air dry.

Cheek, Lip/Labret, Medusa, Monroe, Tongue:

PLEASE wash your hands before touching your piercing. Swelling will normally occur during the first 72 hours after being pierced. It is important to drink a lot of cold liquids and gently suck on ice to help minimize swelling. Use ice 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off the piercing to help keep maximum blood flow. Rinse mouth every hour with Listerine, Peridex, or similar antibacterial mouth washes. For a tongue piercing you must eat soft foods during the initial healing period. The more you favor the fresh piercing the quicker and easier it will heal. Advil (or any Ibuprophen) works well for soreness and can help reduce swelling. Keep dirty hands out of your mouth at all times. Tighten the balls or disc backs on jewelry regularly as they make become loose, but PLEASE make sure you wash your hands before doing so. It is important to avoid oral contact during the healing period suck as wet kissing and oral sex. DO NOT USE A WASH CLOTH OR BATH TOWEL TO CLEAN OR DRY THE PIERCING, THERE MAY BE UNKNOWN BACTERIA IN THE CLOTH THAT WILL TRANSFER TO THE PIERCING. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR PIERCING WITH ALCOHOL OR PEROXIDE, THIS WILL DRY YOUR PIERCING OUT.

belly, EAR, EYEBROW, NIPPLE(s), nose, Septum:

The Following piercings are classified under the ear: Cartilage, Conch, Daith, Flat, Forward Helix, Helix, Industrial, Lobes, Orbital, Rook, Snug, Tragus.

PLEASE wash your hands before touching your piercing. Swelling will normally occur during the first 72 hours after being pierced. Remove all discharge matter from the piercing. Use a pearl sized drop of antibacterial soap to clean the piercing making sure to rotate the jewelry to allow soap to clean the area. Rinse the jewelry well with fresh water continuing to rotate the jewelry to assure all the soap has been cleaned off. gently pat dry with a new dry paper towel or tissue. DO NOT USE A WASH CLOTH OR BATH TOWEL TO CLEAN OR DRY THE PIERCING, THERE MAY BE UNKNOWN BACTERIA IN THE CLOTH THAT WILL TRANSFER TO THE PIERCING. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR PIERCING WITH ALCOHOL OR PEROXIDE, THIS WILL DRY YOUR PIERCING OUT.
