Age Requirements to be tattooed by an artist at Bonedaddys Tattoo?

Persons must be between the ages of 16 - 18 years of age or older in order to be tattooed. If you are a MINOR between the ages of 16 & 18 you can get tattooed with parental consent. This means you must be accompanied by one of the parents/legal guardians on your birth certificate. You must have the minors ORIGINAL birth certificate present, a form of photo identification for the minor, and state issued identification for the parent/legal guardian on the birth certificate. Parent(s) must also be present on the date of the tattoo appointment to sign a consent form. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this law whatsoever!

Birth certificate MUST be present when setting an appointment. If no birth certificate is present you will not be permitted to schedule an appointment until one is provided.

All forms or Identification must be originals. We can not accept any pictures or photo copies of ID’s and birth certificates.

Pennsylvania Learner’s Permit are NOT acceptable!

Acceptable forms of photo identification for minors are:

• Pennsylvania State Identification Card

• Pennsylvania State License

• US Passport

• School ID (must have Name & Picture)

We offer our piercing services on a walk-in basis Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 12pm - 7pm.

We do not offer any piercing services for anyone under the age of 16 years old. Unfortunately this includes infants and children.

how do i schedule an appointment to get tattooed?

ALL appointments must be scheduled in the shop and CANNOT be made over the phone. To set up an appointment you can simply stop in the shop anytime at your convenience. All appointments that are scheduled require a $100 deposit that is credited towards the final price of the tattoo. Unfortunately if a deposit is not left we can not set an appointment.

If you are a MINOR looking to set an appointment for a tattoo you will need to provide your original Birth Certificate, Photo ID, and parents State Issued Photo ID when you come in to make the appointment. If you cannot provide the needed forms of information you will not be able to set the appointment until they can be provided.

You may reschedule your appointment if we are given 48 hours notice from your appointment time. If the appointment is rescheduled past the 48 hour mark you will forfeit your deposit and another deposit will be needed to schedule your new appointment date and time. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Accepted forms of payment for services are Cash, Credit/Debit, and Gift Certificate. Sorry Personal Checks are not accepted.

If you live outside of the Tri-State area (PA/NJ/DE) you may call the shop and we will do our best to schedule your appointment. Some artists offer the ability to pay for your deposit through PayPal.

Deposit Policy - No show & last minute cancellation?

Same day cancellations and or rescheduling of an appointment within 48 hours will result in the forfeit of your deposit in whole, and a new deposit must be left to reschedule a new appointment. A no show to a scheduled appointment will result in the cancellation of any remaining appointments scheduled and the forfeit of your deposit.

Can i reschedule an appointment that i have already scheduled?

Existing appointments that have already been scheduled with one of our artists may be rescheduled under the following conditions:

• You are rescheduling 48 hours before your scheduled appointment date and time. For example if you are scheduled to come in 12/31/19 at 12pm, you need to contact the shop either via phone or in person by 12/29/19 at 12pm in order to reschedule the appointment. Rescheduling past 48 hours will result in the forfeit of the deposit for that appointment and another $100 deposit will have to be made to schedule the new appointment date.

• If you need to reschedule you can call the shop or stop in at any time to do so as long as it falls before 48 hours before your appointment.

• Appointments are non transferable, meaning it can not be transferred to a family member or friend.

• Deposits for appointments are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Do you offer gift certificates?

We do offer gift certificates which must be purchased in shop only. Gift certificates can be used towards the purchase of any tattoo, or piercing services as well as aftercare products, or merchandise. Gift certificates may also be used as a deposit towards a tattoo appointment. Any gift certificates that are purchased are valid and do not expire. Gift certificates that were donated for a charity or raffle will have an expiration date. Gift Certificates are NON-REFUNDABLE, and we can not reissue a gift certificate that is lost or stolen.

Do you offer walk-in service?

Yes we do offer walk-in services, but due to high demand we can not accommodate everyone who wants to get tattooed as a walk-in, additionally we offer walk-ins every other Saturday all day with our artists Craig and Joe only. Walk-ins are dependent on size and detail so we try to limit each tattoo to around an hour, to an hour and a half per tattoo. All of our artists will do walk-ins if their schedules allow them to. We are scheduled out differently everyday so you can call the shop and ask if we have availability at any time. If you are looking to work with a specific artist please let us know so we can check availability. Below is a calendar of walk in dates for 2024 with Craig, Joe and Mike ONLY, some dates are subject to change.

Bonedaddys Tattoo prides itself in our sterile and safe environment, your health and safety is our number one and highest priority. We adhere to and comply with Aston Township Health Department on all health and safety practices and procedures used while tattooing. ALL needles and grips are single use and disposed of for every client. We also adhere to and practice strict procedures to avoid cross-contamination. We ONLY use disposable razors, depressors, disposable ink holders (which hold a single use amount of ink per tattoo), and protective barriers such as drape sheets, plastic wrap and gloves on everything that is touched during the tattoo process.

can i bring a friend while getting tattooed?

While most of our artists will allow a friend to sit with you while being tattooed, that decision is ultimately up to the artist. We understand that getting a tattoo is exciting and fun but distractions can be an issue. Please check with your artist first and ask if you can have someone back with you before telling friends. PLEASE DO NOT TELL YOUR FRIENDS, BF/GF, HUSBAND/WIFE, PARENTS OR FAMILY TO SIMPLY WALK BACK TO WHERE YOU ARE.

Do you use vegan friendly ink?

Yes, all inks used by our artists are 100% vegan friendly.
